Chicken schnitzel in the oven, stuffed with Kasseri
Ingredients5 chicken breasts (150 gr each)
200 gr Kasseri
30 gr lemon juice
40 gr olive oil
8 gr salt
3 gr pepper
40 gr butter
For the coating100 gr bread crumbs
100 gr flour
3 whole eggs
PreparationPlace the chicken breasts on a tray with the olive oil, the lemon juice, the salt and pepper and marinate for an hour.
Slice the breasts lengthways, and fill them with a thin slice of Kasseri.
Coat the breast first in the flour, then the eggs and finally the bread crumbs; sprinkle with the melted butter and bake in the oven in a medium setting, until golden brown.
