Crunchy finger-pies with Xynomyzithra Kritis
For the pastry:300 gr all purpose flour
300 gr Xynomyzithra Kritis
100 gr bread crumbs soaked
2 eggs yolks
5 gr black pepper
3 gr nutmeg
50 ml fresh milk
150 ml water
For the coating:100 gr bread crumbs
100 gr flour
3 whole eggs
250 ml olive oil for frying
PreparationPrepare the pastry by mixing the flour with the cheese and the other ingredients.
Cut the pastry into small rolls, and knead these into finger-shapes.
Coat them first with flour, then eggs and finally bread crumbs and fry them in hot oil until golden brown.
